- 17 November 2010: Holyrood Magazine conference, "Gaelic medium education: striving for sustainability". Antonella Sorace has been invited to speak on behalf of Bilingualism Matters/University of Edinburgh about the benefits of bilingualism and the importance of raising awareness in minority language communities.
- 15 November 2010: "The future of British Sign Language in an inclusive Scotland". Conference held at The Scottish Parliament, Holyrood, Edinburgh. Antonella Sorace gave a talk on the linguistic and cognitive benefits of bimodal bilingualism.
- 10 November 2010: Piccolingo Languages in Action. Early years settings across Edinburgh were invited to celebrate early language learning.
